As part of the S.E.E.D training program framework, which was implemented from the academic year 2021-2022, VietSeeds students from their second year onwards are required to form groups and carry out community projects together. After more than a month of diligent work, the Seeds from generation F9 and F10 of VietSeeds successfully found their teammates, discussed and decided on the implementation plan for their meaningful project ideas. All of these ideas originated from the students’ own understanding of the needs and challenges of the surrounding community as well as their empathy and aspiration to create positive impacts for society. By collaborating on the project, the Seeds had a chance to develop various skills such as teamwork, group leadership, problem solving, communication and time management. Each project also presents a huge opportunity for the students to practice the spirit of “Pay it forward”, fostering a sense of readiness to contribute to building a positive, developed society.

Having completed their fundraising pitches and project proposals, all the groups then received valuable, constructive feedback from the Core team of VietSeeds as well as from their Mentors and Sponsors. The projects have started to receive financial support and officially launch their activities. VietSeeds always believes that this will be a rewarding journey for the students, for it offers them a chance to connect with each other and with their Mentors and Sponsors more effectively.
