On Sunday, January 8, 2023, VietSeeds warmly welcomed the participation of students in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City in the kick-off event of the VietSeeds RISE 2023 program.

The VietSeeds RISE program is a part of the S.E.E.D training framework that VietSeeds has implemented since late 2021. This is a simulated business model for third and final year students. In this program, each Seed will join a department of their choice and perform their assigned tasks under the guidance of an advisor (Coach). The program aims to provide the students with an opportunity to gain practical experience, enhance basic skills that are essential for any profession through solving real-life situations, as well as develop presentation, communication, research, critical thinking skills, … and engage in artistic activities that enrich their life capital.

This year, the VietSeeds RISE program consists of 4 departments. In Hanoi, they are HR, Marketing, Finance and Sales while in Ho Chi Minh City, the Seeds can choose from 4 departments: HR & Admin, Finance & Internal Control, Marketing & Sales and Machine & Equipments / Technical. The students are accompanied by advisors who have extensive experience and achievements in their respective fields. The first meeting was held in a positive and enthusiastic atmosphere, where many questions were raised and insightful feedback was given. Throughout the program, the students were encouraged to learn new things, experiment, make mistakes and learn from them to better understand themselves and gain further insights into the reality of the work they aspire to pursue.

In addition, the Seeds also attended the first Training session, which entailed writing CVs and interviewing. Through realistic sharing and hands-on practice, the Training session delivered positive and promising results, indicating a memorable RISE 2023 journey for all the students.
