[HUE] PAY IT FORWARD - TRAINING PROJECT FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT
Jan 30, 2026
On the afternoon of Friday, January 30th, at the Book and Culture Space in Hue city, the F13 and F14 generation students of VietSeeds Hue participated in a training session on the topic "Project Financial Management" - an important skill that helps students not only realize their ideas but also ensure that the project can operate effectively and sustainably in practice.
The session was honored to welcome Master - Doctor Tran Thi Mai Lien, Lecturer of the Faculty of Public Health at the Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy. With close and practical sharing, she brought many useful knowledge to the Seeds in managing and operating finances for community projects.

Through the training session, participants explored important content such as the basis for calculating project costs, how to scientifically plan budgets from the very first steps, how to monitor finances during implementation as well as methods to control and allocate funds in each phase of the project. At the same time, they also practiced skills in sourcing investment, learning how to present and persuade to mobilize resources for the project.

Not only a simple theory sharing, the training session also opened up opportunities for participants to apply knowledge in practice. The four project groups in the Pay It Forward program discussed and developed detailed budget estimates, suitable for the scale and objectives of each project. This was also an occasion for the groups to review their plans more clearly and realistically before moving into the implementation phase.

VietSeeds highly appreciates the spirit of learning, proactiveness, and positive energy of the F13 and F14 Seeds throughout the training session. We would like to extend our appreciation to Ms. Tran Thị Mai Lien for her companionship and guidance in this program. Hopefully, the knowledge and experiences from the session will become a solid springboard, helping the upcoming projects of VietSeeds students to be effectively carried out and create many positive values for the community.
