On March 31st of 2024, the students from F12 generation in Hanoi participated in a training session about financial management skills, which integrally belongs to the “Pay it Forward” community project by VietSeeds Foundation. The program was successfully held with the support of Ms. Hien Nguyen - Project Manager at Ericsson Vietnam and Ms. Thanh Huyen - Project Manager at PATH organization, both of whom are long-time mentors of VietSeeds.  

During this event, the students have been expanding their expertise of project management and its basic terminology. They have also been equipped with valuable lessons on various types of costs (Direct costs, Indirect costs, Contingency costs) as well as methods of cost estimation such as Bottom-up estimation, Analogous estimation, Parametric estimation, and Project management software.     On that base, all 5 groups from the 5 community projects have undergone project progress evaluation from the 2 trainers and had the chance to prove their ability to self-determine the project's value as well as operational costs when adjusting to a practical situation.  

Upon their earnest spirit, our students have had the opportunity to enhance a lot of solid financial proficiency, thereby better laying the groundwork for the development of the projects ahead. VietSeeds would like to express our sincere gratitude to Ms. Thanh Huyen and Ms. Hien Nguyen for their knowledge-sharing and for having enthusiastically supported and accompanied the students throughout this meaningful training session.
