On the morning of Sunday, May 17th, RISERs in Ho Chi Minh City participated in the “Taking photos with a Phone” workshop led by Mr. Le Ngoc Phi Long - someone with many years of experience in photography and who has accompanied VietSeeds at various events over the years.

During the sharing session, the Seeds learned foundational knowledge about photography such as composition, lighting, shooting angles, and how to convey emotion and meaning through images. Not only learning about theory, the participants also had the chance to practice taking photos and received specific feedback from Mr. Long to gain a deeper understanding of how to observe, choose perspectives, and tell stories through each frame.

With a straightforward, easy-to-understand approach and lots of practical examples, the workshop offered them a fresh perspective on photography, that a beautiful photo isn’t just about technique, but also about how one perceives and captures meaningful moments around them.

The session ended with a mini photo game in a lively atmosphere full of joyful and creative moments. VietSeeds would like to extend sincere gratitude to Mr. Phi Long for his practical and inspiring sharing, and also thanks to all the students who participated enthusiastically and brought an energetic spirit of learning to the workshop.
