On the morning of Sunday, February 1st, RISERs in Ho Chi Minh City officially embarked on the first challenge of RISE 2026 through the presentation of the solution for Case Study 1. This marked the beginning of the learning and training journey for VietSeeds students, where initial ideas were shared and refined through effective teamwork. The session welcomed the participation of Ms. Nguyen Duc Thuy Anh - Co-founder & Program Director of VietSeeds, and also Chairwoman of RISE 2026. Additionally, the program highly appreciated the presence and guidance of the coaches in charge of each department: Mr. Luu Huynh - Coach of Sales, Ms. Ha Nguyen - Coach of Marketing, Mr. Dang Khoa - Coach of Finance, and Ms. Uyan Trinh - Coach of HR.

For this first challenge, each department brought a uniquely impressive and fresh approach to the assigned problem. The presentations showcased the students’ serious investment in preparation, their proactive spirit in teamwork as well as their effort to arrange content appropriately within the allotted time. By dividing roles and supporting each other, the RISERs gradually honed their coordination skills to convey ideas clearly and with focus, despite some awkwardness during their first presentation. 

One of the greatest values of the recent presentation came from the direct exchange with the judges and the coaches. The specific and practical feedback and comments from them helped everyone better understand how to approach problems, organize information, and the role of communication in teamwork, contributing to an open exchange environment while maintaining the academic spirit and professionalism of the program. This was also an opportunity for participants to clearly identify areas for improvement in their work, from content structure and presentation flow to the connection between sections and departments.

As the event came to an end - RISERs in the Southern region had a practical start along with many valuable lessons. It was not just a simple presentation, but also an important stepping stone to help everyone get familiar with the program's working pace, continue enhancing their skills, and prepare a stronger mindset for the journey ahead within the RISE Program.
