[HCM] SUMMARY OF THE 4TH PRESENTATION FOR F13 STUDENTS
May 26, 2024
On Sunday afternoon of May 26th, the Debate session which is part of the Presentation project under the S.E.E.D training framework, successfully took place with the participation of F13 students from Ho Chi Minh City. The competition also welcomed the presence of the judges, including Ms. Cat Tuong - Executive Director, Co-founder of VietSeeds; Ms. Quynh Nga - Project Manager of VietSeeds; and Mr. Dang Khoa - ?, along with the presence of many mentors from the organization.
This year's 4th presentation session marked a change in the implementation format - a debate competition with a total of 2 rounds, including 4 turns during the qualifying round and 2 turns of finals, delivering a brand new interesting experience. This is indeed a truly educational playground to help students express their mind, enhance their knowledge, and learn from each other.
The presentation topics, although very familiar with daily life, are highly topical, including "Should prostitution be legalized?", "Is achieving a high GPA necessary for university education?" or "Should single-use plastics be completely banned?". Those were certainly challenging to the students' critical thinking, providing opportunities for them to demonstrate their abilities and improve their persuasive argumentation skills. Furthermore, the sincere feedback and valuable advice from the judges and mentors have helped the students draw valuable lessons and experiences for their long journey ahead to become a better version of themselves.
Staying true to the initial goal of the Presentation Project, hopefully the F13 seedlings of VietSeeds family will continue to grow, become stronger, and shine confidently as they have tirelessly strived for. VietSeeds also deeply appreciates the companionship of the judges and mentors in this program, providing great motivation for the personal development journey of the students.
