On the morning of April 19, F14 generation students in Ho Chi Minh City participated in a training session within the framework of the Pay It Forward program under the theme "Teamwork & Effective Communication Skills", led by VietSeeds’ long-time trainer and mentor - Ms. Dinh Thi Ngoc Quy.

The training provided participants with a more practical perspective on teamwork, which is not only about dividing tasks but also about understanding each person’s role, coordinating effectively with teammates, and working together towards a common goal. Through familiar situations encountered during group activities, students realized that many issues such as overlapping tasks, lack of work, blaming, or carrying the team often stem from unclear responsibilities and poor coordination within the group.

By analyzing team roles, the Seeds gradually approached reasonable task allocation for each individual and built transparency in the working process. In addition, the content on conflict resolution helped students understand that disagreements are inevitable, but the important thing is to know how to listen, clarify issues, and work together to find suitable solutions.

The highlight of the session lay in the principles of healthy communication such as mutual respect, constructive feedback, and emphasizing a sense of responsibility. Relatable examples and practical discussion activities helped the Seeds not only understand the theory but also immediately apply it to their daily study and teamwork processes.

The training concluded with an open exchange between the trainer and participants about the challenges in communication and group coordination. The session not only provided practical knowledge and skills but also helped them better shape how to build an effective, cohesive, and sustainably developing team. VietSeeds would like to express great thanks to Ms. Ngoc Quy for taking the time to share such practical, profound, and relatable insights, and also thanks to all the students for their open and proactive participation throughout the whole event.
