VietSeeds RISE 2025 - 2026 has officially launched in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, marking the beginning of a long journey where the Seeds are equipped with the necessary skills, mindset, and experiences to enter a highly competitive academic and professional environment. The opening activity was the “CV & Interview Skills” training session on the morning of December 20th in both regions, gathering a large number of Seeds from generations F12 and F13, along with two experienced trainers: Mr. Doan Nguyen - Co-founder & Partner-Led at NADH Consulting; and Mr. Phuc Dao - Client Partner, Sectoral Expert, and Industrial Lead at NADH Consulting. In Hanoi, the RISERs had the opportunity to undergo a highly effective training session led by Ms. Nhung - Coach of Human Resources Department in RISE 2025 - 2026, currently Human Resources Manager at VISS, with over 8 years of deep professional experience in areas such as recruitment, compensation policies, training & development, internal communications, performance management, as well as building and planning human resource strategies aligned with business approaches.

 

The training session began with the theme “Fly to your dreamland,” emphasizing that a CV is the professional “passport” to reach dream opportunities. The Seeds were invited to participate in group discussions to answer the question: “What do recruiters really care about?” From the collected opinions, important categories highlighted included residence, school, practical experience, professional knowledge, and outstanding achievements. This showed that the participants had prepared and researched before attending the session.

 

Based on that foundation, the trainers analyzed in depth: how to choose appropriate keywords in the CV, how to describe job roles in terms of results rather than simply listing tasks, how to arrange timelines in an easy-to-read structure, and how to leverage part-time work experiences to increase persuasiveness. Specific advice on “what to include or exclude” according to different industries was also shared by the trainers.

 

After the CV content section comes the interview practice part. Participants are guided on how to carry themselves when entering the interview room, how to ask questions back to the recruiter, the importance of researching the company before the meeting, and choosing appropriate attire for each field. Especially, Mr. Phuc directly simulated a real interview session right in the class, helping students have a visual understanding, confidently express themselves, and receive sincere, specific feedback.  

 

The session ended with excitement and sincere thanks to the two trainers for their practical and inspiring sharing. This is a very positive kickoff, promising that the RISE 2025 - 2026 series of activities will continue to bring practical and lasting value to the students.
