In addition to the necessary professional skills training sessions, VietSeeds RISE program also offers company visits to help RISERS explore and learn about the business models of companies in various fields, helping them better understand the practical working environment. Based on that spirit, the visit to AEON Vietnam, a unit of Japan's leading retail group, was successfully organized on April 25th, marking the beginning of this series of activities in Ho Chi Minh City within the framework of RISE 2024.

Accompanying and guiding the students during this visit were Mr. Duong Van Thi - Deputy Director of Aeon Tan Phu supermarket, Ms. Hoang Gia Le Huynh Tuyen - Deputy Head of Talent Attraction and Human Resources Planning Department, Ms. Do Nguyen Ngoc Thu - Head of Aeon Vietnam Academy, and other colleagues from the Human Resources Department.

AEON Vietnam officially started operating in 2011, investing in various retail business sectors with the beliefs of pursuing peace, respecting human beings, and contributing to the community with a mission to put customers at the center. Moreover, human resources are an important factor leading to the current achievements of AEON, especially the student generation as a valuable feature that creates great potential for the company. Therefore, AEON has many activities to help students better understand its business model.

During the visit to AEON Tan Phu Celadon shopping center, RISERS were introduced to every little detail on the operating model of the supermarket with a wide range of product categories, learning about its functioning system such as product arrangement, operation of booths, product categories, etc. Besides answering basic questions about business operations, the guests also shared insights about job opportunities and careers at AEON - recognized as the Top 1 ideal working environment in the Retail industry in Vietnam in 2024. With AEON, the doors are always open for young graduates, however besides professional knowledge, skills and attitude are also important factors that AEON seeks in the rising generation that leads the future of business. 

Before the end of the tour, representatives of VietSeeds RISE and AEON exchanged souvenir gifts to show appreciation for a meaningful visit.
