[HCM] WELL-BEING - SEE LEARNING: DEVELOPING BODY LITERACY AND RECOVERY SKILLS
Apr 12, 2026
On Sunday, April 12th, Seeds F14 and F15 in Ho Chi Minh City participated in the next training session within the Well-being program under the theme "Developing Body literacy & Recovery Skills," led by Ms. Quyen - Facilitator of Heart&Mind Education. The session provided participants with foundational knowledge about how the body reacts to stress, while equipping them with practical skills to self-regulate and regain balance.
At the beginning of the program, experiential activities such as "Untangling Knots" and "Go & Stop" helped participants realize how each person reacts differently to challenges, as well as the importance of staying calm when facing pressure. By exploring stress through the three-part structure of the brain, they gained a clearer understanding of how thoughts, emotions, and survival reflexes affect daily behavior.
The highlight of the training session was the exploration and development of body awareness. The students were guided to distinguish between sensations and emotions, while also practicing recognizing their own states through "tracking sensations." Furthermore, recovery skills such as Shift & Stay, Grounding, and Resourcing provided the students with useful tools to regulate their nervous system in stressful situations.

VietSeeds sincerely appreciates Ms. Quyen for her companionship and her relatable, practical sharing, and thanks to all the students who participated with an open and positive spirit throughout the whole session. This was not only a simple and profound training session, but also an opportunity for everyone to better understand their body and emotions as well as to learn how to care for their mental health sustainably in daily life.
