On Sunday afternoon, May 10th, F14 students in Ho Chi Minh City participated in a Critical Thinking training session with Ms. Thao - Co-founder of Khoi, featuring many practical sharing and activities around rational and perspectival analysis of issues. 

During the session, participants were introduced to the 5 basic steps of critical thinking: questioning the issue, searching for data and real evidence, identifying assumptions, applying the CEAP model for analysis, and finally making appropriate conclusions. Thereby, students not only gained a better understanding of how to build logical arguments but also learned how to view an issue from various angles instead of just approaching it emotionally.

The highlight of the training was the practical exercise with the proposition: “Are students using AI to do assignments called cheating?” Based on different viewpoints, the Seeds debated, counter-argued, and gave opinions based on data and real evidence. This activity not only opened up many interesting viewpoints on the use of AI in learning but also helped students practice their analytical skills, defend their outlooks, and listen to diverse opinions.

The session concluded with various reflections on how each person approaches information, asks questions, and makes decisions in both study and life. This is certainly a meaningful milestone, helping them gradually build critical thinking and the ability to analyze issues more deeply and objectively.
