On the morning of Sunday, February 12, 2023, the VietSeeds RISE Organizing Committee in Ho Chi Minh City held a meeting of the Executive Board and all staff members of VietSeeds Milk Joint Stock Company (VietSeeds Milk) to address the first business case (case study no.1) of the company this year.

The meeting was attended by the Board of Directors of the RISE program, the Heads of Finance - Accounting - Internal Control, Human Resources, Technical, Sales & Marketing and all employees of the company (who are the RISERs of the VietSeeds RISE program this year).

At the outset of the meeting, the CEO of VietSeeds RISE - Ms. Quynh Anh helped all departments identify the problem that the company was facing. In nearly 4 hours, the departments worked together to search for and present their solutions, raised questions and gave each other constructive feedback to find the most suitable and effective ways to address the company’s current issues. The meeting took place in a very lively, vibrant atmosphere, with all departments trying their best to propose the optimal solution to help the company overcome its ongoing challenges.

Participating in solving business cases under the simulated business model like VietSeeds Milk Joint Stock Company is a valuable and practical opportunity for VietSeeds students to enhance their teamwork skills, presentation skills, critical thinking skills, and problem-solving skills. In addition, they also acquired more professional knowledge and had a clearer view of the actual job positions of a running business.

Finally, the students had the opportunity to listen to the very practical sharing and feedback from the advisors (who are the heads of VietSeeds Milk) for their presentation, work process, and problem-solving skills, from which they accumulate to improve their professional skills and have a clearer vision of their future work.

The VietSeeds RISE program is a part of the S.E.E.D training framework that has been applied by VietSeeds since the end of 2021. This is a simulated business model for third-year and final-year students. Accordingly, each Seed will participate in a department of their choice and be responsible for their work under the guidance of an advisor (Coach). They will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience, improve basic skills that any profession needs through the process of solving real situations, while enhancing presentation skills, communication skills, research skills, critical thinking skills,… and experiencing artistic activities to enrich their life capital.
