“Beginning” is always a special milestone in each person’s life. This is why at VietSeeds, the welcoming ceremony for the new generation of students is always one of the most important and emotional events. On Sunday morning, October 9, the VietSeeds family in Hanoi met in an intimate and cozy ceremony, to celebrate the 34 most resilient seeds of the VietSeeds F12 generation in Hanoi.

The ceremony was honored by the presence of Ms. Huyen Ton Nu Cat Tuong - Co-founder of VietSeeds Scholarship Fund, Mr. Do Hai Nhat Anh - VietSeeds Executive Manager in Hanoi, Ms. Nguyen Ngoc My - Strategy Director and long-term sponsor of VietSeeds, Ms. Kim Ngoc Thanh Nga - Head of Ecosystem Development, National Innovation Center - a member of the Wisdom Seed Board, as well as the sponsors, mentors, volunteers, alumni of VietSeeds in Hanoi, and most importantly, the VietSeeds students. Together, we created a really memorable and emotional “beginning”. 

We were inspired by the stories of kindness and creating change by Ms. Cat Tuong, the questions about the purpose of university by Ms. Ngoc My and the sharing about innovation by Ms. Thanh Nga. We were touched by the smiles, the tears, the photos, the hugs and 34 letters of wishes that the students wrote today, to open up and look back after 4 years. 

After this Opening Ceremony, the VietSeeds students of F12 generation in Hanoi embarked on their new, amazing journey, with all of the support from their loving VietSeeds family. Just remember, you will never be alone on the path you have chosen to pursue their dreams. 

The Welcoming Ceremony in Hanoi marked the end of one chapter and the start of another. We hope that the F12 generation will have many achievements with VietSeeds on their journey to conquer their dreams.
